Go to newmarket if your in toronto and go to the pfaff performance tuning shop. They have exactly what apr is offering for about 800 canadian with warranty. They will pay for any damages for your car and you dont have to worry about dealer knowing you just go to your dealer and they forward payments to them for warranty repairs if there is a chip problem. I know you think its crazy but man there is like 20 people in line right now for this chip. Power is 258hp and 276.3 Torque. No more warranty scares no more problems they do it with your dealer but the tunner said the cvt can handle well in excess of 300lb foot of torque so no worries and all those cvt stories are flop. Also 2-4 mpg better gas mileage. So any info just reply to post Enjoy thank god i can finally chip without worrying.

258hp? You might want to read that from APR's website:

<a href="http://www.goapr.com/Audi/products/ecu_upgrade_b7a4.html">APR specs</a>

If Pfaff Tuning is stating 258hp then they really should have told you that's "gains of up to 57 horsepower are available at lower rpms" with 93 octane. The torque numbers they gave you is for 91 octane.

I would still be hesitant to trust that much torque on the CVT until there is some long term usage first.

As for the warranty they are offering, what is their warranty in writing??

And, as Mike is asking, is it in writing?

YES IT IS IN WRITING AND HERE YOU GO SO YOU CAN CONTACT THEM FOR YOUR SELF. Man is it so hard to beleive i would not come on here and post a lie if others do im sorry about that. They make you sign a disclaimer and so on and they will take charge of the warrantly repairs for all your damages and by the way cvt are capable so no worries. here is ther info.

Pfaff Sport Tunning For My A4 2.0T FSI

1208 Gorham Street Suite 10 new market (905)-657-0338.

Im on teh list you can have a full view of all their stipulations when you go there but yeah its all legit and they will take all your repairs and pay it. So no need for no security program for apr or the stock program you dont need it now more so enjoy.

This is a forum where people can post their own opinions and concerns.

And before you post, proof read your paragraphs so that others will understand what you are saying.

That being said, Pfaff is a reputable shop so thanks for the information. : )

The deal between APR/STaSIS and some of their "dealers" is not 100% full proof.

I would really like to see or hear of a car with a major problem, a full blown motor or full blown CVT tranny which can cost any where from $5K to $10K to be covered by APR/STaSIS or Pfaff. They will certainly come up with an excuse that it is not there fault and to ask Audi to cover it. Audi will turn around and say, your car is chipped/modified, your problem sir, we are not going to cover it under the warranty and right fully so. Then it becomes a three way battle, between you/Audi and APR/STaSIS/Pfaff.

Good luck in solving the mess. Until you see a statement by Audi that they have entered a full partnership with APR/STaSIS and their so called dealers, like Pfaff that there is an undestanding in principal for some kind of warranty, and some kind of arbitration mechanisinm between all paties that will fairly determine who's at fault for the damages and who pays for them, then I would be very careful on what and whom covers what.

Just my $0.02.

What does that have to do with my integrity. I just thought people would be interested in some good new perticularly b7 cvt owners and if you don believe me take a few moments and call new market pfaff instead of continuing this argumant about integrity. Im just here sharing the good news so go check it out for your self i can post the the location and number in case you cant read or see the one above.
