I'm probably gonna buy the part myself (where is the cheapest?)
and have someone change it, since I don't have the tools or press to get it off..

Thx

In all likelyhood, you will probably end up replacing one or more ABS sensors, since they always seem to get damaged while being removed (mostly on '99 and older A4s). If you were in London, I could probably do it for half the price you would pay at a shop, if you buy the parts. I've done about 20 bearings on these, but they never get any more "fun" to do!

I 've changed a few on our 00 30v and the bearings are usually $54-75. I have the hub tool which makes the job a whole lot easier. If you have to take the hub off, then you'll need to re-align the car(or really should). Depending on how corroded it is in there, labor charges can differ, especially if the abs sensor gets ruined.
