...family will be in your neck of the woods between Xmas & New Years...coming out from Cali. Staying in upstate NY for 8 days, but will be making a one day/night trip up to Montreal. It's been awhile since I've been out, so I'm not familiar with the latest and greatest places to stay, or cool spots to dine out. Looking for something in the "upper middle" of the price spectrum for each. Want to do it right, but don't nec. need the Ritz for 1 night. Location preference would be somewhere close to St. Catherine St., as I think that's where we'll be closing out the night (of course). All feedback appreciated.
