Got rear ended Saturday night around 7pm on Steeles E. I have stopped for the car in front of me to turn left into a house. I have stopped there for at leaset 1/2 - 1 min and then suddenly got hit big time from behind. It was a 90 Subaru Legarcy and it get bump back 1 1/2 car length.
My thought at that time was Oh god the whole bumper should fallen off. But when I get down and check, it was push in about an inch and if you look at it from distance, it didn't seem like there has been any accident!! I hope the frame was not push in but I was amazed how solid my car is.
Now I have to go thought all the hassle of insurance, body shop, etc. Any bodyshop recommended? I want to have the best job done to my baby who has been accident free for 3 year and a month :-(
TIA

Call & talk to Jeff Pabst - 905-715-7383.
They did the full RS4 conversion on my S4...you can see it in the showroom at Pfaff Tuning while you're waiting.

After all that work and all that $$$ that car of yours belongs in a show room anyways!

Storage isn't an issue as I have an extra garage space for it, but they asked if they could have it in there & I figured sure...need some work done/toys installed anyhow.

They did an amazing job on my previous car (A4) after a very bad key job.
They are pricey but if insurance is paying get the best.

No visible damage except for a scratch on the rear bumber. The other car front end was pushed back 1 foot.
After verification it came to 1200$ in repairs. They pushed back the "floor/frame" a bit and repainted the bumper. Also replaced some exhaust brackets.

I was going to work and I stopped at a Timmy's on islington and advance (s of bloor) to get a morning wake up. Let me tell you how I was inside for about 3 minutes. When I came out I saw my front bumper, fog light assm, headlight, side fender and hood all damaged. My front bumper was bent out like someone was trying to ripp it off. I was sooo f$%^in pissed. First I didn't see anything so that was fu%%ed, second my car was parked for F%%k sakes. There was one car parked right in front of Tim's so that cut off the turning radius. Then some old dude driving a toyota tundra who didn't judge the turn accurately clipped my **** and pulled it out. All in all he stuck around and his insurance comp got stuck with a bill for almost $3000, (2850 to be exact). I took my car to 427 auto collision (evans & kipling) only because it was the closest and also because they bought out an existing vw & audi auto body shop down the road. They did very good work, their shop is top class ie: paint room w/ match paint system, diag. They work on higher end cars on the regular. The only warning I would give is if u want to go aftermarket in the case which is an option, 427 won't do it. Their case is that when u go aftermarket the fit may not be as snug as stock (bumper, skirts)and they don't want to be liable. But check out PFAF I hear good things about them. Hwy 7 and Weston auto circle.
My baby still purs but hates lame ass drivers who don't know how to wait or use their horn. Peace
