car started up no problem,wipers on the other hand needed an hour to warm-up before completing a cycle across the windshield !!

...with the windchill it was -44C. The car started just fine, but the liquid crystal displays were a tad on the slow side.

No engine heater but I do use synthetic.

but had to use it to jump start my 2002 TDI....now THAT was a NASTY sound!!!!

For those of you living with winter conditions, do your car a favor and install a block heater. They make a huge difference and your car will love you for it! Cheers.

Perhaps new plugs &amp; wires are in order for your 2.8 ? How much fuel was in your tank ? Did you fully depress the accelerator pedal on second attempt ?

might of been on the shelf a long,long time

but the car didn't even start on boost. The engine oil pressure lfinally lighted up. Guess my oil is too thick. But thanx for your input
