Does your engine call for the use of 94 octane?? If it doesnt, dont bother.. the highest stock compression ratio in any audi car is the 12/30V V6 at 10.3:1, which calls for 91, but doesnt make use of 94... unless you are running a HEAVILY modded turbo car running stupid boost, there is no need for the 94..

Nothing higher than 92 methinks. The 93s and 94s are all ethanol blends.

it only costs me around a dollar more per tank. Since the S4 runs fairly hot and it's still summer, I figure the extra anti-knock protection can't hurt. I agree it would be overkill on an NA car but maybe not on a turbo car. Who knows... it's only a dollar more after all.
