I've been reading audiworld for over a year. Being the lazy bum that I am, i never scrolled far down on the forum listing page. So I only 'discovered' this Canadian forum just yesterday.
Being in Montreal, it was difficult finding detailing stuff locally. ordering on the net meant paying for shipping (US$40) and customs. But now after going thru this forum, I just got some 3m rubbing compound from UAP/NAPA, and S100 (aka P21s) stuff from InterMoto. Thanx a bundle people.

PS Anyone know where to get some EBC (or similar) brake pads locally?

you can get them from johnston research and performance in toronto..but these pads at least on TTs recently have been getting a bad rep for causing disc problems.. theres no denying they are good in regards to brake dust issues..but for the money i would avoid them...look at mintex box reds, porterfield or maybe even pagid pads.. get a good pad for the street..unless you track it..the track pads can sometimes run to cold for the street.. hawk makes good stuff..but they are really really hard on rotors... do a search on the ebc pads..i dont know what kind of car you have..but i wouldnt use them on a TT... think some of the S4 people agree as well. Try LLtek in montreal area..not sure what pads they have but they are local.. johnson research also has a website as well...
