I haven't been recieving any of the emails from the group recently ( a week or so). I tried leaving the group and joining again, changing my email (but it doesn't send out a verified email), unsubscribing..etc...
What can I do to fix this problem?
I do not wish to read the messages through the website.

Go to My Groups. You should see a list of groups you subscribed to. On Message Delivery, make sure you have Individual Emails or however you want it setup to. Of course, make sure the Email Address is set to your email address you want to receive the messages.
I had some trouble a while back when I was forced to switch from @home.com to @rogers.com. Difficulty in changing the primary address but got it done somehow.

We've had a few problems with people trying to subsribe to the Ottawa group. I also find that it takes a while for some messages to get delivered to my hotmail account (sometimes over a day later).

Got worse with all of the useless ads. I really wonder how effective those are. look at AOL, they started having popup ads like crazy then subscribers left them because of that so then AOL scaled the amount of ads back.

I think its an email rejected by your email system, but i'm not sure why that happens. Its definitely a Yahoo bug.
Go to My Groups, then look for a tab 'Email Preferences'. There should be a column called Bounce History. Click here and follow the instructions to unbounce your account.
