TIA.

Thai Pilin - goot hole in the wall in the Pike & Plaza (across from Stohlman VW).

Food is good, but I've just been on a kick to support local/home-grown businesses and restaurants recently.

However, here in NYC, I've been to a few places that make Da Domenico look like an Olive Garden...well OK, not quite that bad. But the Italian food up here is killer.

I do love Da Domenico though.

a nice veal scaloppine in a mushroom-cream sauce. Friend had the Pasta Bolognese - looked good and she cleaned her plate...so I'll assume it was good. Chocolate mousse cake for dessert.

I would like to try their veal chop at some point, but I wasn't THAT hungry.

There was singing by the owner/maitre'd. It was a nice spot. I had been there years ago, but kinda forgot about it.

Not a cheap night, but well worth it.

The Bronx apparently has way better Italian food than Little Italy in Manhattan.

things tend to get hyped up and then the quality slides.
