Lets say Rt. 123 to Rt. 355 in the mornings at 7am, return in the evenings around 6pm.

straighten them out if so...

270 is going to be atrocious at either time of day.

In my experiences doing Rockville > Sterling 495 actually wasn't that horrible in the evenings, once you get about a mile out from Tysons. I can't remember well enough what it was like in the mornings, but, usually once you were beyond the spur you were OK.

Where on 355 do you need to be exactly? If this has something to do with RPA you might be able to get off fairly early as they've moved south...Montrose > Tower Oaks > Wootton > south on 355.

I drive the reverse route everyday and it is the same.

I used to commute from Alexandria to Rockville every morning and it was backed up til 66 then fine after 66. Coming back in the evenings is a little bit more traffic but not too too bad

summers are much better. back then (01-03) the worst part was coming back home, especially right before the american legion bridge - that's always gonna be back up after 430. Best thing is to get off @ g-town pike and use backroads for the rest of the way home. it seems like 495 to md is always backed up these days, though

I have a customer and also a friend who are both interested in Porsches so I told em to go see you. You might be getting a couple customers asking for you sometime soon

worked @ a building next door to rockville porsche/audi... leaving @ 7 am - traffic will be flowing normally. going home - you'll also get stuck at the American legion bridge - that's always going to be a bottle neck

... against the involuntary pumping of Z-Max snake oil additive (and profit booster) into every orifice of every car they service. I understand the profit motive, but it's just wrong to pump junk into top notch cars, when the manufacturer specifically advises against.

always specifically sold to the customer, never force fed.

" According to the FTC, the CRC L38 test is a standard auto industry tool to measure the bearing corrosion protection properties of motor oils. In February/March 1997, an independent laboratory performed two CRC L38 tests of zMax for Speedway and Oil Chem. In those tests, motor oil treated with zMax produced more than twice as much bearing corrosion as motor oil alone. The complaint also states that the defendants fabricated one "report" from the two test reports, eliminating the bearing corrosion results and all other negative test results, and then used that report and the "official laboratory results" - similarly edited to remove detrimental data results - as sales tools in the infomercial and on the zMax Web site. I was just there Thursday morning for a $100 oil change. $35 of which was for the Zmax. WTF?

Morning will be flowing, but your evening will suck. Go to happy hour and wait until 7 to head home.

Did the service advisor mention ZMax when you dropped it off?

Potomac-Greg

... advised against it.

What next, a $25 charge for a prayer for good fortune?

I was in a hurry to get to work and annoyed that I didn't even get a car wash for my $100. The car wash guy hadn't shown up for work yet at 8:45 and I couldn't wait any longer.
