Just got the car back from the dealer...

So far, with the understanding that I only drove it for about 10 miles but I did throw some stop-and-go, high speed highway and uphill climbs, I've noticed:

1) in sport, no 1st gear lag/hesitation from start, though it still will short-shift 1st if you don't kick it.
2) smoother and stronger mid-range power delivery (say from 2K to 4K rpm's)
3) maybe 50% less engine idle vibration (w/tip in gear at a stop) and I would no longer describe it as buzzy
4) overall, the engine seems smoother though that may be my imagination?

Again, this is just my initial opinion based on one drive from the dealer to work so take it for what it's worth.

Ciao

If your referring to the I3 recall it affects most FSI vehicles 2.0t, 3.2, 4.2. If you would like I can do a check with your VIN and see if it applies to your specific vehicle.

We do go through the VW hub so I think it'll work. Or if you just post here I'll get it.

During the 10k service last fall they didn't have anything available yet.

it kinda died out and I don't think they allow individuals to sell their products.

are you aware of anyone getting the reflash and having this relapse? i understand how the tranny learning program works but not sure why it would learn to hesitate?
