She had one come on for a second this past winter and not come up again til now; it's on and staying on but the car runs fine. Also, it hasn't seen any maint. beyond an oil change in about 3 years/30k. :P

PS - Her last payment is in 6 months and she likes the A3s...woot! :D

...but I hope it won't be around much longer than another year or so. She's tired of it and wants a bigger vehicle (but hates SUVs)...funny thing, she said 'van' and I said 'why not a wagon'...she said but wagons are family cars...WTF is a van, then!? :P

I'll prolly bring it to AutoZone, Pep Boys, etc. just to pull the codes...a web search should then give me a good idea what the problem(s) might be. :)
