I recall hearing that the scheduled maintenance interval for a 1.8T is now 4-months or 5,000 miles. Is this true? Does it apply to all 1.8T's or only newer ones?<p>If the schedule hasn't changed, I'd like to set up a 3x/year schedule. Hi JD,<p>I noticed that your post mentioned Audi dealers in NJ. I'm in the market for a 1.8T Avant, and am thinking about purchasing it in NJ. The only dealer I've contacted so far is Audi of Bernardsville. I've looked through the archives for references on NJ dealers, but didn't hear any specific comments. I recently received my '99 1.8T and yes, the scheduled maintenance is different for the 2.8<br>1.8T is 5000mi<br>2.8 is 7500mi<p>I've seen some discussion about which schedule is better for the engine, but the '99 owners manual tells me I should take the 4-banger to my service dept. every 5K, so that's how often I'll show.<p>Robbie<br>(99 1.8Tqms)<br>
