Scosche makes a wiring harness adapter for the A4. I have one in my 98.5, it's probably
the same for a 99.5, but you should check with them. They also make a faceplate, but
its a little on the flimsy side, had to reinforce it. Someone else on this forum had made
a faceplate from aluminum, you can probably find it in the archives.

back when i blew my 18" avant garde, i had to slap on the little poor excuse for a spare tire on my car.. over every dip and every bump my front bumper scraped the cold hard pavement with a bone wretching "grrssshhh!!"..
full size spare.. it wouldve been nice to do this 1 year earlier on my 99!
