I have finalized all the arrangements for the Trivia Road Rally and GTG.

The Rally starting point will be in Washington Crossing, PA, just 3.5 miles off of Interstate 95 at Exit 51 (Old Exit 31). Detailed directions will be emailed to registered cars. (see below)

The first rally car will depart the starting point promptly at 12 NOON and each successive car will depart every three minutes. A total of twenty registered cars may participate in the rally, BUT how about this?.....

** Winery Tour and Wine Tasting GTG **
We will be having a GTG at the finish line of the rally. The rally will finish (but the GTG will begin) at The Sand Castle Winery, 755 River Road in Erwinna, PA (about twenty miles north of Washington Crossing State Park). The GTG will start at 3PM with a complimentary tour and tasting of their wines for pre-registered cars. There is an outside tent and picnic area, so bring along your favorite Italian bread, some hearty cheeses, and succulent fruit and enjoy the day with some great wine and your fellow Audiphiles - this should cap off the day perfectly. We'll be able to relax, talk about the rally and enjoy the hospitality of the Sand Castle Winery in some of the finest countryside Pennsylvania has to offer. I'll announce the winners of the rally duing the GTG, too.

Remember: Since Father's Day is Sunday, June 15th, bring Dad along for a pre-Father's Day celebration on Saturday. Show Dad a great day in an Audi and treat him to a bottle of wine!

Both the winery and I need to know and plan for the number of people that will attend this super event. So, please register early.

The deadline for registering your car in the rally is midnight, Sunday, June 8th, 2003.

To register for the GTG (and the wine tasting) only, you MUST register by midnight, Sunday June 8th, 2003 as well. (I have to call the winery on Monday the 9th and give them advance notice of the total expected attendance.)

Nice drive with friends, ending up at a winery for bread and cheese (und wein).

But Beeman'S4 is running the logistics for the June Chester County Beekeepers Association meeting/annual picnic (as well as being the auctioneer), committed to a few months ago.

So although I was looking forward to joining up with folks while sporting a "new" twin 2 and be able to look under the bonnets, looks like I will be wearing a veil/bonnet for a different kind of gtg. WTH.
