was quoted $359 for the whole car. He charges something like $250 for Llumar. The Huper Optik is ceramic, rather than metallic, so it will not reduce radar detector range or AM radio reception. I'm probably going to get it done in the next month or two, but I wanted to see if someone wanted to go with me and try to work out "group buy" of sorts. Maybe they will lower the price if we get 2 or 3 cars at a time. Any takers?

How much just for a roll or two?

Also, I saw another post indicating that the Huber Optik didn't bend right for rear window application and that they used another brand; did that turn out to be True? I'm looking at ceramic for the same reason's you mentioned, and don't want metal on the rear glass.

If you had the work done, please give me your thoughts. If you are still working on a group buy, I'm interested.

I don't know who 2k2s4 spoke to, but I found a dealer in Waldorf MD (TOO INTENSE WINDOWS) that offers Huper Film. In answer to my questions (cost, guarantee, and if they used the ceramic tint an rear window) they replied:
-----
WE can install Huper film on all windows in ONE PIECE.
Huper is guaranteed for as long as you own your car.
Currently we book appointments 4 days in advance.
Our prices, $225 for LLUMAR high performance metalized
film,, $419 for the HUPER OPTIK stark ceramic.
Installation time will be around 3 hours
-------
Almost makes 2k2s4's $359 quote look reasonable. eh?
