Anybody want to give their opinion on tint brand names and/or installers in the area. I want to tint my S4 soon, but I've heard horror stories about tints eventually fading to purple and now there's a new problem with the dot matrix in OE windows causing problems with the adhesive. Any tips, suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I got my TT tinted at a place call Auto Trim in Frederick, MD. They did a very nice job. I got scheduled and they did the job in about 2 hours.
They use Johnson Films. I got the metallic tint. It was only $40 more, but comes with a lifetime warranty and will not fade.
I learned that all standard (non metallic) tints will fade to a purplish color in 3-5 years. Some brands may take longer, but it will eventually happen. Thats is why most of these tints only have a 5 year warranty. If you don't plan on keeping your car that long, this is not a bad option.
Metallic tints will not fade, and thus usually have lifetime warranties. Drawbacks are that radio reception (esp AM) will deteriorate if the antennae is in the glass (like my TT). Metalic tints also improve the heat reduction. Yes it also has a slight silvery look. I like the way looks on my black car.
