I'm PISSED OFF. I really hope its a big boost leak but I honestly highly doubt it.

http://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/2806408.phtml</a

expect BW to investigate for their own sake. How can they make a statement that the turbos weren't primed by the specs? What evidence is there to support that? If they already refuse to apply a warranty then you don't have much of a choice.

Get together with your installer and obtain some legal advise, your installer must get on board simply because BW is saying he has no idea how to prime turbos......

Perhaps you might have to push the envelope here; metal analyzes, oil analyzes etc pp....it's a long road....and it sux!!

losing boost...but like you said, if it turns out to be the turbo (which I'm praying its not), all I have to say is Borg Warner is going down big time. No joke. As you may know this is the 2nd K04 gone bad and their excuse is "they were not primed/prelubed", which is total horse poop

a turbo is not primed correctly then it goes out in a bang during the first few miles, had exactly that happen twice in a FIAT prepared Hill Climbing car.....an oil driven turbo is a turbo is a turbo, period!

My car has more weight to pull on those K04's and she is holding up for more than 50K miles now....so don't buy into any Horse droppings from them.

But be precise in your analyzes and base everything on physics and science, you'll need to be as cool as the iceman for that.....and start shopping for a non-Turbo S/RS4 'cause I'm pretty sure you are fed up with this car, for now ;-)

had my car 1 1/2 months if that. And those were spent breaking in the new clutch.

Good luck!
