Can the Audi warranty be voided if I get accident repair work on my A4 at an independent garage & receive invoices showing that they used new original Audi parts?<p>Gus

Audi if it is repaired to factory specs, then it will have no impact on the factory warranty.<p>Monte<br> Dale B 11-20-1998, 07:19 PM It won't even affect the warranty if they use non-Audi parts. The non-Audi parts themselves won't be covered by Audi, of course. Also, if non-factory parts cause another component or part to go bad, the warranty won't cover that either. As an example, if you use Autolite sparkplugs instead of the factory Bosch ones, your engine is still covered under warranty. However, if the sparkplug disintigrates or somethin, or was the wrong plug for the engine, and damages your engine, you're not covered. |
