I know I can order much cheaper at plenty places online but I'd like to see a large variety of skates and actually try them on... anyone know if brick and mortar stores that have a nice selection? I currently have a set of Mission skates that needs to be replaced...

I'm in Brooklyn NY but will travel to Long Island or NJ if need be.

I play down here in philly. I realize you're not asking about philly area, but the stores down here suck. only places that have a good selection are pro shops.

and yes online rocks for good prices. but def not fun buying skates online though. you would have to know the product works for your feet before you order them...

I have a set of missions from about 3 yrs ago. My first "baked" set of blades. incredible. they have adjustable settings front and rear to help create "chatter", and feel more like ice. pretty cool. held up really well so far.
