talk to prosecutor and see if you could plead to an unsafe driving offense. You can only do this if you have never done it before. No point violation with fine and court costs= $300-$400. Another option is to plead down to a 2 point ticket and take the 6hour defensive driving course. Upon completion of the class you immediately get 2pts removed. You can only do this once every 3 years or so.....not too sure of the time interval
