Oh thank God! I thought I was mechanically inept! I tried to get that bracket to work all weekend. I'm gonna try and return my bracket to Clair Parts, they should take it back, no?

Any advice on where to place the changer brackets (assuming I drill the holes myself)?

Having read the discussion below re Mobil 1 in the N.E., I am running with Amsoil 10W40 here in Toronto.

I would appreciate any comments, either + or - from those more knowledgeable than myself concerning the suitability of 10W40.

Amsoil is an excellent race (performance) oil. Sorry can't tell you too much about the weight but what your using should be fine.

I ran amsoil 10W40 before, now 5W30. 5W30 has better cold start protection (thinner) and gave me better gas mileage. Avoid using 10W40 in winter, especially in Toronto where it gets fairly cold.
