Hello, folks - unless I am mistaken the only way to adjust the headlight angle is via the VAG-COM cpu hookup. Unlike BMW counterparts, all you needed was a flatheaded screwdriver to adjust the angle.
I was wondering if anybody with VAGCOM can help a buddy out in the Ithaca/Tompkins region in adjust my headlight angle (I'll gladly pay!). Dumbasses as the dealer refuses to change the angle claiming "I'll blind others". Damn, the trucks/SUVs out here are already blinding everybody else.
I obviously don't want the angle to be high enough to blind drivers in front of me but it is ridiculously low. I had a Camry rental and even with plain halogens it had much better visibility. My '03 A4 angle is so low I can't see no more than 20 feet in front of the car at night. It's so bad I always have to use the highbeams out here in the boonies.
Any help/feedback would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Kevin
