I just got a notice from the Paramus Municipal court in the mail today about a ticket I recieved in January of 2004 regarding a new court date. Just wondering how long after the date of offense the municipal court has to prosecute their case...I'm hoping I can just go in there and get it dismissed because it happened a while ago....

I wonder if I can get mine thrown out. I hope I dont hear from them soon.

I won't be claiming the Statute of Limitations, rather I will be asking the judge to dismiss the charge based on lack of prosecution. Keep that in mind if a situation like this ever arises for any of you.
