Got a ticket on the Seaford-Oyster Bay speedway the other day. 79 in a 55. It was really stupid of me, as I know exactly where the cops like to sit on that road and should have been paying closer attention since I was driving my wife's truck with no radar detector. But I guess I've become so subconsciously reliant on the V1 that I'm not as careful as I used to be.

Anyway, I know the last time I got a ticket around here (7 or 8 years ago, I think) I was able to hire a lawyer who went to court & dealt with the DA so I got a no-points, non-moving violation on my record & the county got their money. That's all I'm really looking for here as well.

If anybody has had experience with this type of thing I'd appreciate your feedback or recommendations. TIA.

I got a ticket in the same spot...9/12/01.

Caught in a daze after a day of dealing with terrified clients...83 in a 55... got it dismissed.

I have a few suggestions for you.
