is moving to CT for his residency. He's got a lot to do to prep for the changes so I'm trying to help out. He's taking my old B5 S4 with no front tag and 35% tint.

Does CT require a front plate? If so, how hard is it to get away without one?

What about 35% tint?

TIA

CT tint laws are 35% front windows, basiclly 20% rear and unlimited on the rear backlight.. or unlimited on all rear.. depends on which law set you read...

no front plate is illegal... cops will pull you over for it, especially on a hot looking car with tints...
I'd advise fabricating a bracket for the front plate, or zip tie, or something to put it in an odd place, not in the standard spot....

since I received my license..18 years ago. I live in Fairfield. I tints should be OK also.

Even if I get one....I would just pay it.

Just don't like the look.

if i do get pulled over (which i havn't), and im planning on tinting this summer, i have heard of people getting tickets but its for an obscene tint, i wouldnt worry about it to much.

They can still give you a ticket if you don't have a certificate or some BS like that.
