Mine also sitting there since Nov 3. Dealer does not know why. For some reason all quattros, and any car (A6/A8 also) with cold weather package is delayed. Dealer here says that all USA items are installed in the cars in Houston, ie manuals, floor mats etc, and AUdi will not ship a car until it is totally complete. I have also heard rumors of hoses and brakes - but do not know. You can check your status at www.teamhouston.com if you know your dealer # and VIN

My dealer said A6 is for steering wheel overheating. All A4 Quattros, but he doesn't know why. My 2.8 A4Q is scheduled to be delivered today, but is a no show so far. He did get the window sticker though.

the eta is based on when it is released from port to a carrier. so...it all depends when then get it through customs, fixed, and on to a truck/train.<br>

Mine is still stuck in Halifax as of last Friday. My dealer runs his status report every Friday. Since I will be going to the dealer tomorrow to get a u-drive (my current lease is up tomorrow), I will get a status update.<p>When I asked the dealer yesterday if the delay was because of a hose replacement or brake related inspection he said...Hmm, I haven't heard anything about that.<p>TGB 1999 1.8T qMS (Please arrive soon!)

Since I know you are a 1999 A4 owner, has there been any indication from your dealer that you have a recall on your car for any of the reasons mentioned that are causing a delay in port (hose replacement, brake inspection/remediation, etc.).<p>It seems that up to the point where you received your car, delivery was not being delayed... Just curious.<p>Thank you in advance.<p>TGB 1999 1.8T qMS (Stuck!)

Audis sell because they are great cars, built extremly well...<p>Hondas sell because they are cars marketed well...<p>The complaints these people are having are with the dealerships, not with the car maker. Besides, they are complaining because they want their cars now. They can't get them soon enough...

Why not a Mustang SVT? It's faster than a TL. For stoplight drags, nothing beats big American iron.<p>Why not a Lexus ES300? It's at least as reliable as a TL. Did you want more problems? :-)<p>Here's why not for me: German cars have unmatched "feel" to the suspension, steering, and brakes. And BTW, I do like the new TL (except for the front-end styling).<p>I know how you like to troll, but here's my futile attempt to lay this general topic to rest:<br>I have test-driven hundreds of cars over the past 15 years. I have owned several Hondas and Toyotas (and even a Ford when I was 17), as well as two BMWs and an Audi. My ratings are:<p>Most Reliable: Honda Prelude (but I've never owned a Lexus or Infiniti); Least Reliable: Ford<br>Best Handling (Dry): BMW; Best Handling (Wet): Audi quattro; Worst Handling (All): Ford<br>Best Steering Feel: BMW; Best Brakes: BMW; Best Interior Ergo., Fit and Finish: Toyota<br>Best Exterior Styling, Fit and Finish: Audi<p>So it depends on what is important to you. You've made a good choice for a combination of speed and reliability. You've made a bad choice (IMO) for exterior styling and "feel."<p>BTW, do you in fact own a TL?<br>

An equivalent discussion forum for Acura TL enthusiasts doesn't exist. If it did exist, there would be the similar percentage of complaining vs complimentary posts about TLs. <p>IMHO there isn't a TL site, because there aren't enough owners who are "passionate" about their "impassionate", read BORING, car!<p>Therefore, hans is stuck hanging out here and nagging us.<br>He's the geek who is trying desperately to hang out with the cool people.<p>

I see you lurking around in here all of the time, and I still don't see your point. Perhaps you really do not have one that's of any value. Kind of a "legend in his own mind" thing I think.

The jittery ride from the Honda suspension keeps my coffee stirred. The whining road noise completely dulls my senses which is very relaxing indeed. The complex gadgetry that Honda spent its, I mean my, money on, instead of putting it into the guts of the car, help to detract my attention from the road, thus reducing my stress level. The very short seats means that only about half of my thighs is in contact with the upholstry. This helps to keep me awake since I have to constantly squirm around to get comfortable. And the actuaI driving experience? Well, what can I say? No adreneline rush here folks. I actually wish this car was a little slower so that I could enjoy these benefits a little longer each time I get behind the wheel. See what all of you A4 guys are missing.

My car came thru Boston two weeks ago and arrived here in Delaware sooner than I expected. This made me curious so I called Audi customer service to inquire if there was a problem I should've had fixed and what they told me is that cars with the cold weather package are having mods done to their heated steering wheel! I said " what heated steering wheel!" Apparently, they've phased an upgrade into production and I may have missed it by 1 week! They are looking to see if my car has it, but the way I get repsonses from Audi customer svc, I'm not holding my breath. <p><br>So that is what I've heard, but I'm not sure how much faith I put in it.

Hans, if you are such a Honda enthusiast, why aren't you out driving your honda or better yet, posting on a honda group instead of in here showing everyone just how remorseful and insecure you feel with your latest purchase. I test drove the honda you're talking about and if you ask me, which you didn't, the Hoe-Nad TL is a generic looking, wallowing piece of inferior metal which should be sold at Best Buys instead of real cal dealerships.<p>Look below for the real facts on Hoe-Nad<ul><li><a href="http://members.tripod.com/~juan_espero/">TheTruthAboutHondas</a></li></ul>

I'm not the one who is sorry!! You brag about owning a car with an idenity problem, which definately isn't an Audi, on an Audi forum??? You're the one who is sorry... My shoes are faster than your shoes!!! Listen punk! You drive a dressed-up Honda Accord which to me is no different than a Ford Taurus with leather or a Big Mac with cheese, MASS-PRODUCED CRAP!!! Did your dealer ask you if you wanted fries to go with your car???
