New to Houston and just bought another A6 - this time a 3.2q - last one was a 2.7Tq.

1) I am thinking of buying a vag but probably dont have much use for it. Does nayone have one that does not mind letting me use it?

2) Has anyone done the DIY MMI update? I have the instructions. Curious to hear if anyone has done this and if you can share your experience. I called the dealers and they were clueless. I tried sharing that the surround settings would not stay saved and still received no help...

have only the free version of vag-com , is kind of limited in options , but works for me to recode the engine , tran , and remote control.

Thanks for the follow up. Do you mind sharing? Apparently I need to check the telephone setting and I may want to look at a couple of the more popular easy changes. I have a 2005 A6.
