There's a lot of variables that affect the answer. Post at NTAG with your preferences for commute versus price. Kids? Schools? Price range? Spouse works nearby? Assuming you can't afford Highland Park I'd look at Coppell. Rowlett's schools are apart of Garland's district. They are average in quality. Some schools are good, others average. In many cases in districts that have a mixture there will be some very good elementary and middle schools but the high schools will be average or below average.
