Last weekend, I parked next to an empty space at the Palo Alto Town&Country, and came back to find ... a fairly deep, 6" long, bumper-shaped dent in the driver-side door. No note, of course. :-(
Can anyone recommend a Bay Area body shop, and an idea about reasonable prices?
Also, does anyone have an opinion about going through one of the dealers? It's time for my 15K checkup, and I'm tempted to leave my car with the dealer to handle the whole thing.
Thanks,
Rei

I went to Automotive Perfection in Redwood City, 2860 Fair Oaks. They have done work for me and my friends Boxster, and both his BMWs. Excellent work, and the best thing is that he is a car enthusiast...Check him out...
650-365-9483
As far as cost...it is almost impossible to tell without seeing the car. Get an estimate from these guys...and tell em I sent you.
Steve S.
97 2.8QM (red one)
I'm looking myself, the anderson Behel dealer pointed me to a "non-affiliated" shop called Anderson Behel Body shop in Santa Clara. 988-4011 Anybody have any experience with them?
I just had my 98 A4 2.8 repaired by Anderson Behel Body Shop. Their work/quality is OK (average) even though their shop looks impressive. Don't go there if you can find a better-referrenced shop.
