I've been thinking about getting a drive together for a while now on some of the nice roads around where I live. Here's a map of the route I was thinking about, I just need to know when a good time is. I know I'm more of a lurker than anything on here, but I'm getting a bit more time for events these days and figured I'd do my part to help organize something. I was thinking about meeting up at the parking lot at Kroger's in Conroe at the corner of 336 and I-45 and going from there. We could eat at a place called The Relay Station (it has one of those huge steaks that if you eat it, it's free) and maybe end up at Papa's on the Lake. Anyone interested?

I'm not sure on the total mileage right now but can do a test drive to check.

It seems like enough people are interested to get this thing rolling. We just need to figure out when now. Some weekend in December maybe? 5-6, 13-14, 20-21 are the options there. Any of these bad for anyone? Good for anyone?

I'm going to go make this drive myself in a few days and will return with some more shots to show the route a bit better. It winds through the National Forest, over Lake Conroe, and through some really pretty country. It should be a ton of fun.
