...but the plan that was touted on the ballot resolution is too expensive and not effective enough at what it does, and the rail line that is nearing completion is almost a complete waste of money. Hopefully the plan will be improved upon before it is implemented.

I'm more upset that the Toll Road Authority has deemed it necessary to take an extra $10/month out of my pocket in increased toll rates. In 3 days of this so far, I've noticed very little appreciable decrease in morning traffic as a result of the fair increase, although yesterday I left the office at 5pm and was expecting traffic to be bad on the tollway but it wasn't, so maybe the increased tolls will have a bigger effect on some of the afternoon rush hour congestion on the tollway -- it was worse then than in the morning anyway.
