I posted a week or so ago that my check engine light was on. So I had a choice: Momentum or Advantage. Advantage was closer so I went there. My first appointment they said it was the DV's so they replaced those, plus my top driver side speaker was blown and they put one on order for me. They also installed a new instrument cluster. I drive off in the car and no later than 30mins the check engine comes on again! What the heck.

Second appointment I leave the car there for 4 days. This time the gaskets on the turbos were leaking coolant so they needed to be replaced which means taking off of exhaust etc. They also changed the MAF and supposedly did a alignment. I pick up my car yesterday evening and start driving home and 20min into the drive...check engine light pops on. Now all of the sudden my speedo stick starts bouncing and just falls to zero along with the fuel gauge. Then I notice when going into or out of low gear (1st,2nd) I hear rattling from under the car like the exhaust wasn't on tight enough. My driver side window controls for the rear windows are backwards(right button opens left window). Needless to say I am pissed. So now I have to take it back once again and supossedly the head tech is going to work on it. This is last draw...if they don't get my car right I need suggestions guys.

that should make them a bit more conscientious this "last" time around.

next time .. goto momentum. they are, imo, by far the "lesser of evils" when it comes to local houston dealerships. i've heard far more horror stories from advantage service than i have with momentum.

Call the 800 customer service number and complain. They'll give you a case # so you can log everything. Tell them you won't take it back until you KNOW it will come back fixed.

Otherwise, take it to Momentum, see Stephen (one od the service writers) and tell him what happened. They will make it right! Advantage has gone to **** in the past year!

Some young kid...I forget his name. Supposedly they are going to get the head Tech to work on it. Maybe that is Dan or Gerald. Also considering I even keep this car now, where do you go for your performance mods? I live in NW Houston in the 1960 and Jones rd. area. I think I'll do TBB,K&N, maybe APR bipipe first. Then when I need to get suspension etc installed any places you can recommend?
