...unless they've got a free place to stay in College Station, or have to go to attend the Friday night meeting since it's their first time there. You only have to wake up about 45 minutes earlier if you leave Houston Saturday morning. My $0.02.

I'd like to be there to help but Friday is my boy's 1st birthday.
I'll be there (Horror, I mean Manor House) late Friday night.

To socialize, help setup the track, not have to drive from Houston to TWS early in the morning, have the car ready, etc.
Some of us LIKE to do it!

...since it's hard to completely ignore a bright orange cone you're going to be driving within a foot or two of though...

several cones were placed on the 'safe' side. By Sunday, the cones meant nothing since most everyone gravitated to the proper line. I think someone nailed that cone anyway.

Z06?

It put the car further on the right and made the driver turn more instead of cutting the corner. Hell- the cone may have been in the middle of the track.
It didn't work as everyone got faster, they found the true line.

Z06 was WAY TOO much for insurance! Now I'm thinking about a TT225 coupe. I would be able to get it at invoice!
What do you think?!

Especially suspension. A little too biased towards smoothing the bumps for overweight 55 year old chain wearing men. A car that starts out with the wheels at or near the outside corners has an upfront advantage. A little work on the engine brings them up in speed to I understand.
I will never own one. No headroom.

my car chipped is faster than a chipped 225TT simply because of weight.
Right now, the only mods for the 225TT is chip (91 octane only...what's up with that APR?!?!?!), exhaust and FMIC. It already has a K04 so no real turbo mods to do.
Plus it's cramped. I have more room in my Golf.
Upside...it's an Audi, has AWD and is a much nicer car than my Golf. Plus I can use my wheels that I bought for the track on the TT!

Especially in a handling situtation where the front tires are expected to power AND steer the car?
I didn't think about the weight, you're right on that.
However, (and I think the 337 is a good looking car) the TT is just plain cool looking.

it works primarily as a FWD car and uses electronics instead of the Torsen diff. that the S4 has.
Tuner's tell me that the Haldex unit can put 100% of the power to the rear wheels...COOL! :)
I like the TT but I dunno...I need to go down to Momentum and take a look-see for myself. Maybe that's what I'll do at lunch!

Sure... it's from Stratmosphere. But it works! And, you can get a really nice Milltek exhaust and a Forge IC!!!
