I went and bought the TT BPV earlier today and was psyched to do the install, only to see that the BPV on the '98 is really high up in the front of the engine.

So I take down the air intake tubing and I still can't get to any of the clamps to take them down...Any suggestions?!?

Help a brother out folks!!

Lift the front of the car up, remove the underbelly pan... and there it is, in plain sight.

There is one of those one-time-use clamps holding one of the hoses on, so that is the hard one to remove. The other two are regular hose clamps.

I replaced the one-time-use with a small hose clamp when I installed the Forge Valve.

Hope that helps.

I was eventually able to get to it from up top. The BPV was really high in the front. The install was really easy once the old one came off. Still alot more than I had anticipated, I guess I should have listened to the folks that said it was harder in the 97-98 models.

When I tried to get to it from the bottom, I could barely reach it with my arm fully extended.
