I had to vent about Houston weather. Torrential rains Thursday caused me to miss my connecting flight at DFW and so now I'm sitting in a Holiday Inn in Bedford. Catching the next flight out in the morning. Sucks wind.
Reminds me of the time I was flying from Pensacola back to DFW (where I lived at the time) and storms in this area were too bad to land. So we circled, ran low on fuel, flew to San Antonio and sat at the gate for fuel. Airport was shut down, so we sat there on the plane for a few hours before flying back to DFW. Worst travel night of my life!
