I've got two - one of which most likely meets 1995 Snell standards (top of the line Arai I bought in Daytona a few years ago)...but the other one was purchased pre-95.

Lots of variety out there at a Driver's Edge event at TWS.
The South Texas Audi Gruppe and the Austin Audi Club are pulling together a large contingent for this event. You may want to try to get in with them to get to the 10+ limit.
I plan to be there (if this contract on my house goes through!) and I have a garage space reserved, so we always squeeze a few Audis in and around my spot.

I may be keeping the car, but I still want to have the stock wheels, just in case.

...and yes, you can borrow a helmet. I just checked, and they both have a SNELL sticker on them. (Not sure if SNELL 95 is a new/different standard, but I'll ask when I verify my reservation today....cant imagine they would give me **** over that.)

$79, but you need to get in touch with Michelle first so she can enlarge the room block. The two event motels are the absolute most ass-end of the earth places you could ever stay, and I stayed there once and will never do it again.
Here's Michelle's post from the South Texas Audi Gruppe site:
Call the Courtyard Marriott at 979-695-8111. Tell them you want to make
a reservation under the "TX World Speedway" block.
Room rate is $79.
I originally got 7 replies, so I blocked 7 rooms. I can get more...just
email me or call 512-657-9653.

Whatever we decide to do room wise is cool. Jasyn was saying there are a few that are actually withing sight of the track. I don't require much luxury so if you guys want to hit a budget place I'm cool...or if you want to hit the bulk rate hotel I'm down as well.
I'll talk to you later to figure this all out and confirm the ride tomorrow.
