I went with 550/650 springs and as luck would have it, they had a 'special' kit on the shelf. I also went ahead and got the accessory kit too.

As soon as I find/order a decent spring compressor, we should be all set to knock this thing out!

...I got a "test kit" which is valved a little more conservatively than the standard coil over setup, but thats exactly what I'm looking for.

i'm going to fax over my reg today. sign up!! going to head up on friday evening. there's going to be pre event meeting of sorts. then 7am starts on both sat & sun.

...give her a bath asap, if you havent already. It's much easier to pick the fleas off them when they are wet. Yeah, thats right...I gots mad baboon-like flea pickin skillz!

Coco (the miniature panther) will be a different story - I'll probably wind up blinded and mamed for life after I try to give her a bath.

I snuck out on the track a few times at the old blimp base (cant remember what thats called) but thats about it.

If you are, that would be the perfect opportunity to check out my Stasis setup.

That catalog I have has a few cheapie spring compressor options if you didn't see them. I think they sell the Auto Zone one for $60(ripoff) and they have some other ones for like $30. We could take the units to a shop with a nice hydralic compressor and see if they'd do the swap for us. They could probably do all four in less time than we could do one.

So did you hear any word on when they are going to arrive?

Crap, my elbow scrape is officially infected. Now I'm on oral meds=(. It's always dramatic with my injuries. *Thinks back to the whole thumb cut episode* I guess it's good my dad's a doctor, otherwise my accident prone butt would be dishing out a lot of money for nonsense crap like this. Next I'll probably get bit by a WNV mosquito.

Taking the assemblies to a shop might be the way to go - but the trick is finding someone competant because I dont want these things slapped together. Maybe that place on alabama - ECS?

Sorry to hear about the elbow, but hey - you got free treatment, cool scars, and you can work the sympathy angle with Lindsey.

Got my spark plugs in yesterday - those are going in this weekend.

BTW - I'm not ordering shoes from Performance, so if you want the camelback you should order from pricepoint.com since they have the lowest price on the mule.

ECP has a cool compressor. They may even do it for free. I'll call them and see what they say before your coils get here.

No sympathy from Lindsey. She pokes it all the time=P

...and if so, do you think your wrench is accurate? I'm leaning towards just doing them by hand.

DustysA4

but actually I think there was a thread once where they compared the different tq wrenches and the gorilla tq wrench beat the craftman in accuracy....and for only $20....can't beat that!

BTW, that's what I used on Jasyn's spark plugs.

Hey would you do me a favor and email me your physical home addy? I'm going to ship something to your place. And it's not 50lbs of drugs=P
