When i bring the S into the dealer for a state inspection late this March, will i need to have the brake pad wear sensors in working condition? I have the front left one twisted off into itself with some tape to keep the light out but the pads are fine (50% or so). Just didnt know if they would hassle me about this. Thoughts?

I've never had it happen in MA.
BTW I notice your FMR email. Happen to work at 245 Summer St? My fiance works there also.

I work at 260 Franklin for a very small division of Fidelity (hense the fmr email) but have spent some time in meetings over at 245 Summer in the past year or so.

I've seen them jack up a car, presumably to check out suspension parts. If you have no dash lights, throw no codes, aren't too low, or have a loud exhaust then I wouldnt expect any problems.
Cool about Fido, great company.
