brief dusting with wet snow that freezes upon hitting ground becoming total glazed ice. Happens so quick and unpredictably that salt trucks don't have a prayer in coming to the rescue in time.

Happened to me 10 years ago, but luckily I was driving past a subway line and ditched the car to head into Boston for the night hehe

Nothing better/worse than being the only car who has any control while everyone else falls off the road. =)

sucks though when the people who fall off the road hit you first..
