Due to our negotiations for the upcoming 2009 NAAC winter schools, the NAAC newsletter was postponed from its original publishing date until we had the winter driving school dates nailed down. As a result of the delay, and the stated deadline of November 15th, we now realize the membership does not have full notice of 30 days to submit papers to run for the NAAC Board of Directors as required by the bylaws. As a result, the deadline for nominations submissions is extended to November 30th with the ballot to be sent in the next newsletter. Given the turmoil that is occuring in the National election, we want to give any potential candidate ample opportunity to run. Our appologies for any possible confusion this has caused.

It should also be noted that there was an error in the nominations procedures article, and that (as stated in the bylaws and website) nominations require *twelve* signatures rather than *eight*. This is a good thing as forces existing seated directors to go outside the board for some of their signatures.

Once again, nominations for the Board of Directors elections are due November 30th.
