was really looking forward to it, enough so, that we decided to turn it into a mini-vacation. The Urs4 was to be the chariot of choice this year. I spent HOURS detailing it. Figured we'd leave Fri night for the cape and leave early Sun morning for the show. Unfortunately we only got as far as the rotary in Bourne before coolant level light came on during a "brisk merging manuver". Found a spot to pull over and watched the steam show! Something obviously popped...
Made some calls and "finally" found a motel with a vacancy within a few miles. Had plenty of folks pull over to try to assist but no one with tools and light (one guy tried busting my balls asking why a NEW Audi would break down with a coolant leak, till I told him it was a 94... 8-) Next morning I found I blew the hose off the t-fitting that holds the temp sensor. Clamp was still sitting there! Four or five ice bucket fillups with tap water and we were on our way.
I don't have the bill handy but the place we stayed was a little place off the beaten path (rt130) but there was a restaraunt next door with an EXCELLENT live band (Mike Visconti Band) playing. My six year old break dancing son was an instant hit with the band and what started as torture ended with us all having a great time !
Finally made it to our ultimate destination and enjoyed a few cold ones. Snapped off a few pics. There has to be more gt40's per capita on the cape than anywhere else I've been. Course the obligatory Audi shot...(I suck at picture taking, and yes thats the break dancer showing off his new tattoo and blocking the S5)

Sunday morning it was POURING, and even though it's still very early in the season, the traffic was way backed up and it took longer to get off the cape than I expected and in my PARANOIA that I damaged something during my overheating ordeal I decided to get home ASAP.
Congrats again to gmbchef to winning best Audi with his urq !
