My car's there now. I've had a weird idle issue for months now (but no check engine light since I cleared it the first time). I've replaced the plugs, swapped coils around to eliminate that possibility, checked the ignition amplifiers, pressure tested, used fuel system cleaner, vag'd without any conclusive results (just a few random misfires) etc etc etc. I've pretty much narrowed it down to a vacuum leak somewhere (I think), but I can't fvcking find it. So I'm hoping Lee can.

Last time around, he was able to diagnose and fix a little rattle I could not for the life of me find.

So in short, I just really like having someone with an intimate knowledge of Audis that I can rely on when I have come to my wit's end trying to fix my car. Without that, I would probably go crazy and/or sell my car.

my car has what i suspect to be a dead starter motor, and i would totally pay someone lots of $$ to deal with it, but unfortunately my car is in so many pieces already i cant move it :(

it goes to a family friend mechanic that has a smoke tester tomorrow..so i can "help"
