Any suggestions? a4kquattro 03-15-2008, 07:25 PM Still working on the A6? Ouch... kday 03-16-2008, 07:14 AM Will I have to strip the head (remove cams, valves, etc.) to have it milled? I hope not, since I lapped the valves and replaced the stem seals last year. If I don't find anything closer I'll ferry the heads up to your local place. a4kquattro 03-16-2008, 07:37 AM valves typically no. hockeypuck 03-16-2008, 09:47 AM I had these guys check out a couple of cars for me. Really knew what they were doing. One of the "Marks" is a former audi tech. More than reasonable rates and will talk audi as long as you have the time. I learned more from them in an hour than in my previous 12 years dabbling with vw/audis. a4kquattro 03-16-2008, 09:53 AM more likely than not, they send their stuff to R&L DxC 03-17-2008, 05:23 AM good work at good prices. let me get the guys info and ill edit this post EDIT: Highland Ave Machining - Scott - 617-666-1450 kday 03-17-2008, 07:04 AM |
