WOW.. gorgeous! It was black w/ the carbon side pieces. My wife and I were standing in front of Abe & Louies waiting for them to bring our truck up and I heard it coming down the street. She just looked at me and said "wow, that's beautiful.. what is it?" I told her it was the new Audi... she was very impressed. What a good wife! :)

I searched the RMV and there's only one R8 currently registered in the state. Belongs to the Otto Club of Boston. By comparison, there are TWO 599GTBs registered at the moment. Very exclusive, the R8.

and a friend of mine was at IRA a week or so ago and they had an R8 out back that was getting ready to get delivered, apparently the owner had just come in to pay for it that day. I don't believe it was the one for the Otto Club though so there might be more than one now (or at least there will be soon)!

Either way, it is very exclusive... even if there were 50 of them registered in the state!

Yep, George Maria at Ira Audi sold it to the guy...Phantom black,for $30,000 a year you should join, it's not a bad deal if you figure out the dollars and sense of owning a couple exotics....Great car, a bit underpowered, but looks and sounds fantastic...
