though the climb is frustrating when you get to the top and are surrounded by tourists with cameras bounching off their blubber rolls

day, which is rare. The drive is not for the faint of heart, gravel above the treeline, no guardrails, dropoffs, oncoming behemoth SUV's, but worth it. I think there is an road race there every year with lots of Audi's???

Not anymore. The last race that was sponsored by Audi was 2001. Audi sponsored the race for many years prior to that. The Northeast Chapter of ACNA had an area setup for club members every year. We always had a great time - we all really miss the event as it was a fantastic anual GTG.

Here's a great day of driving:

Take the Kancamangus (Rt. 112) to Bear Notch Road, and then onto Mt Washington. My favorite roads in New England!<ul><li><a href="http://www.motorcycleroads.us/roads/nh_bnr.html">Bear Notch Road</a></li></ul>

Wife and I took the cabrio up a number of years ago. I've taken the coach up a few times in the past for Climb to the Clouds, and while that was fun, driving up was a really good time.

Weather permitting, I'll be hiking up next weekend (15th).

...<a href="http://www.krasusky.photos.us.com/c426118.html">skiing it!!!</a> Tuck's, that is.

Autoroad 1x with wife @ sightseeing pace, and one memorable time previous after working corner like 12 or something for the Hillclimb.

Decent down after road opened post-event with Besso in tow in his recently run Ur4kq nipping @ me E28 ///M5's tailpipes - and his giddysurprise @ my opposite lock rooster tails through the gravellybits.

Majorschmokeybrakes upon reaching the carpark @ basecamp. MuHA!

Er um yeah it's "a hit", I guess 8-).

I guess if the weather is bad it's not worth it anyway.

Also, I couldn't get into the Bretton Woods resort, but I got a reservation at the Mountain View Grand. Is this an okay place?
