Did it happen on 114? I've almost gotten plowed into a couple of times at the light rows by the malls.

he hit me between the license plate and the passenger side tailight half on the bumper and half right into the trunk. The trunk is buckled and the whole right side of the bumper is pushed in, the tailight is obviously junk and the passenger side rear qtr needs some work. I'll have some pics tomorrow.

I have to say though that the car held up well. My daughter was in her car seat in the middle of the back seat and she's totally fine (thank god), she was just a little scared by the bang. The worst part of the whole thing (and this is only the worst thing because my daughter wasn't hurt) is that I got home to an email w/ someone agreeing on a deal to buy the car for $40k :(
It would have been gone by the end of next week and my Maserati would have been in the garage within a few weeks... I am soooo pissed right now!

Your car is so sweet. It'll be put back right though I'm sure. Sorry to hear about the Maser..

Most importantly is your daughter and you are ok!

I'm beyond impressed at how well the car held up considering I was stopped and got hit by a Dodge Ram!

I'll have some pics in a little while.

I might go find that little bastard that hit me last night and choke him until he's blue... or maybe for a little longer!

Last night I realized how much kids change everything. Normally I would be upset and mad to a point over my car getting damaged but in the end it's just a car and it can be fixed, sold, or whatever but since I had my daughter with me just the thought that he could have seriously hurt her and hearing her cry because it scared her made me want to grab him by the throat as soon as he got out of his truck, especially since it wasn't an "accident", he was just, flat out, not paying attention or driving like an ass. I just keep telling myself that as long as she's fine everything else is a distant 2nd and that's true. If she was hurt in any way I have to say I wouldn't be able to hold myself responsible for what I would have done to that kid.

Sorry... just venting a little.

totalled my 1-mo old accord...never got to make a payment on the thing. 3-yr old son in the back seat at the time, but he hit my driver side wheel well luckily.

hit us so hard my trunk swung around to hit him too.

I think I cursed him out in several languages, but first priority was getting my son out of the cold...friendly guy behind me kept his car running and had my son in his back-seat while I dealt with mr. dumbass. and then the cops.
