were indeed very lucky. But to paraphrase someone, "being lucky takes an awful lot of hard work".

The Pats created a lot of their luck, and in the end did what winners do - they found a way to overcome turnovers, terrible field position, a really terrible game by Brady, and then just hung around long enough to win the game.

this is NOT what some of these guys are saying however :-)

they're going with the typical lament of "SD and the refs gave them the game, NE sucks and sucked yesterday, and they have no shot of beating indy"....etc etc etc.

I don't think the Pats got any advantage from teh refs that game. The refs also missed the play clock running down to 0 on a drive I believe the Chargers got their third TD on.

Too bad you were dragged into them. Best leave those to folks with only 1.5 brain cells.

I was giddy all night after that win.
