...and comes in five GALLON pails for $50-ish. Most of the specs are quite similar, it just doesn't have quite as good a cold pump temp rating (for example.) That said, I've used it in -25 degree weather. PS assist is weak for a minute or two in temps below freezing, but the stuff seems to warm up pretty quickly as the pump squirts it around. I have no idea if it would be acceptable in the newer cars- but the older C3+C4 cars should be fine with it. Generally it's not oil breakdown that causes problems with hydraulics...it's dirty oil (it's supposed to get flushed every so often.)

There is a distributor in Needham which won't put up too much of a fuss doing individual cash sales...don't recall the name, as it was years ago that I bought my pail. It was either around WCVB, or over by you-do-it. Mobil had them listed as a distributor.

xtreetoes is correct, FAP also carries 11S; the can will look slightly different. Expect to pay an arm and a leg...though any dealer will charge you an arm, a leg, a kidney, etc...Clair Parts Express is where I'd go for a dealer source, NOT Clair's -dealership- parts counter. They are NOT the same.

You can also try a favorite Audifans vendor, Scott Mockery- www.sjmautotechnik.com, for future needs. He's usually had a good price on the Pentosin coolant (blue stuff for the older cars), and I think his price on the oil was good too.
