Will be heading to NYC soon with the family. Need a safe garage preferably Times Square area where my headlights won't get popped out 12 seconds after I leave the car. The hotel parking is 42/night which I think is crazy but the wife thinks is the safest option.

Anybody have an experience/suggestions?

I'd go for the hotel(try and avoid valet), at least you can check on it whenever you feel the urge.
